The required plastic injection processing process meets ISO standards at Pavico

The custom plastic molding process to meet ISO standards is one of the prominent strengths of Pavico Company. This is also a significant advantage that helps us gain more trust from customers and partners day by day. And, over the past 10+ years, Pavico has successfully cooperated with more than 1,000 loyal customers. So, how is the actual quality of Pavico’s plastic molding process? Let’s find out the details of this production process in the following article.

1. Reasons to Choose Plastic Molding at Pavico

Why do customers trust Pavico as their long-term custom plastic molding workshop? We can only say this: At Pavico, customers and partners will receive many “benefits.” It’s not only about the quality of ISO-standard molded products but also about the workshop’s highly cost-effective pricing. Specifically:

ISO Standard Production Workshop

The first reason is the ISO-standard production workshop – ISO 9001:2015.

Ep 1 1
The plastic injection workshop at Pavico meets ISO 9001:2015 standards

Through this, the quality of our custom plastic molding services and products is ensured:

  • Compliance with ISO standards domestically and meeting the stringent standards of the export market.
  • Optimized production processes. The plastic molding production output will be much higher than non-optimized workshops. The product quality is also more consistent, and the rate of defects (defective products) is completely controlled. Therefore, the cost of custom plastic molding production will be highly efficient and cost-effective.
  • Comprehensive risk mitigation plans are established. For example, additional plastic molding options for a new order with a malfunctioning production line. If there are no other functioning production lines to replace, there is a high likelihood that the custom plastic molding will be delayed and unable to meet the required quality.
  • Enhanced flexibility in production conversion. This means that customers and partners can change or add to orders currently in production, ensuring that the quantity and variety of custom plastic molding products are suitable for customer needs. In particular, ISO-certified custom molding workshops have undergone capacity production inspections and validations. Therefore, customers can be more confident in their custom molding orders, avoiding unexpected situations such as late delivery, lower-quality molded products than samples, numerous defective products, difficulties in warranty or product returns, and more.

Custom Design of Finished Products

The second reason is that customers can choose custom designs for finished products at Pavico Company. Finished plastic molding products include:

  • Cosmetic bottles and jars.
  • Pharmaceutical bottles and jars.
  • Plastic household items.
  • Electrical appliances.
  • Gifts and toys.
  • Accessories.

When contacting Pavico’s custom plastic molding workshop, customers will receive 100% free design costs for custom plastic molding:

  • Designing 2D drawings of the intended plastic molding products.
  • 3D rendering to provide a clear image of the quality of the finished products.
  • Designing and molding templates according to requirements.
  • Conducting rapid 3D printing of sample finished products based on previously designed templates. Customers will have an easier time assessing the quality of the finished products when placing a custom molding order. It can be said that Pavico provides customers with three experiences: an experience with realistic rendering, an experience with the actual quality of the mold, and an experience with the finished product after custom molding. All of these are carried out in the process of step 01 & 02 when customers place custom molding orders with us.

Production According to Custom Requirements

In addition to choosing finished product designs, customers will also benefit from production according to custom quantity requirements:

  • For finished product models that already have molds available, we will ship them immediately if they are in stock to meet the customer’s required quantity. If there is a shortage of finished product models in stock, we will produce them promptly. This significantly shortens the lead time for custom molding orders, and customers will receive their molded products in a very short time.
  • For components that need to be custom molded according to specific designs, we will proceed to produce mold templates and mold the finished products according to the requirements. The quantity to be ordered ranges from 10,000 units to 1,000,000 units or more. In this case, the lead time for custom molding orders will be longer. However, compared to other small-scale custom molding points, we will deliver the products 1-2 weeks earlier.
  • In addition, within the customer’s order, there can be multiple small categories that need to be produced, or the customer can request delivery in stages (all of which we can accommodate).

In cases where there are delays in transportation steps (natural disasters, storms, epidemics, etc.), we will notify customers on the same day and adjust the delivery time as soon as possible.
  • We commit to implementing and warranting all custom molding orders. When inspecting products, if defects are found, such as: Custom molded products do not meet the quality of the sample products, damaged custom molded products, incorrect product models, insufficient custom molded product quantities, etc. We will provide complete on-site warranty service (free of shipping charges).

Additionally, Pavico also provides online customer support services. Our staff will guide customers through all the procedures to verify customer eligibility for warranty for custom molded products 24/7. Therefore, the response time for customer requests regarding product delivery time and warranty for custom molding orders will be faster and more time-saving.

2. Custom Plastic Molding Process at Pavico

Each custom plastic molding process is performed differently to optimize each ISO-standard custom molding process at Pavico. However, at the input stage, all custom plastic molding processes meet the following criteria:

  • Inspection of the quality of the input plastic material to meet the standard.
  • Production of custom molding templates (as required) to meet the standard.

Injection Molding Process

The steps in the ISO-standard injection molding process are as follows:

Step 1: Raw plastic material is fed into the material hopper of the injection molding machine. Here, the heating system around the cylinder continues to melt the plastic.

Step 2: The screw system of the injection molding machine uses high pressure to pump the molten plastic into the closed mold. The screw acts like a piston, pushing the liquid plastic forward and pouring it into the plastic flow channels within the mold to form the product’s shape.

Step 3: When the plastic in the mold has been fully shaped, the cooling system of the injection molding machine will operate to cool the mold. The plastic part will transition from a liquid state to a solid state.

Step 4: When the mold has cooled sufficiently, the mold’s ejector system of the injection molding machine will retract one half of the mold to remove the product. Then, the mold closes again to continue the production process.

Step 5: Quality control (QC) is conducted to inspect the product’s quality, and the products are packaged.

Blow Molding Process

The steps in the blow molding process (two stages) that meet ISO standards are as follows:

Step 1: Raw plastic material in pellet form is poured through a hopper into a material holding chamber. Step 2: Three heat intensity zones on the material holding chamber are used to melt the material. Step 3: The continuously rotating screw system in the material holding chamber pushes the molten plastic forward to the next part of the machine. Step 4: The liquid plastic passes through a screen to filter out any impurities and maintain pressure inside, and then it is fed through a material feed line to prepare for the next step. Step 5: The plastic is introduced into the mold and shaped into the desired form. Step 6: After exiting the mold, the blown products are cooled using either water or cooling rolls to ensure that the shape is retained and remains permanent. Step 7: Quality control (QC) is conducted to inspect the product’s quality, and the products are packaged.

Plastic Extrusion Process

The steps in the plastic extrusion process that meet ISO standards are as follows:

Step 1: The plastic material is melted using an extrusion machine. Step 2: The extrusion machine uses high pressure to pump the molten plastic into a fixed mold. Step 3: The plastic is gradually cooled. Step 4: The finished product is removed from the mold and subsequently goes through machining and finishing processes. Step 5: Quality control (QC) is conducted to inspect the product’s quality, and the products are packaged.

Plastic Injection Molding Process

The steps in the plastic injection molding process that meet ISO standards are as follows:

Step 1: The melted plastic material is poured into the mold. Step 2: The plastic is injected and molded to create semi-finished products. Step 3: Pressure is applied to form the semi-finished products into final products. Step 4: Cooling is applied to gradually solidify the products. Step 5: The finished products are removed from the mold. Step 6: Machining and finishing are performed on the products. Step 7: Quality control (QC) is conducted to inspect the product’s quality, and the products are packaged.
